Question by Daisymae: What is the difference between buying exterior paint vs a paint that is used for both interior/exterior?
Is one more superior, coverage-wise, than the other? I am painting wood around my patio door that has been primed and I need to do inside and outside. So to kill two birds with one stone, I purchased the interior/exterior semi-gloss paint.

well you need to remember that more exterior paints and oils will be more resistant to sun light and so do not need to be repainted as often as interior paints. it should be fine if you are willing to repaint about every 6 months (which isnt really a big ask). its not like it will wash out over the period of the six months but to keep it at the same shade as the inside will be it will need to be reaplied.
