Getting tired of planting all of those plants in the pots all over your house, trying to add some green into your house? Perhaps you should start thinking about a tree plantation. This could range from a pine, mango, teakwood, or bamboo. Anything, just make sure that it suits the weather, soil, and of course, the size of your yard. You won’t want a tree that can grow over 20 feet tall or with a diameter of more than 2 meters, right? Putting the tree selection aside, here are some benefits of having a tree in your house:

Temperature Regulator

Most trees love sunlight, it is their source of growth vitamin. Unlike human being, sunlight is a big NO, NO, moreover with the so called ‘global warming’. Tree could be your savior here; it can lower the temperature of your house by blocking the direct sunlight. If you’re planting those covering trees (teakwood, oak, or any type of those big trees), it will offer a protective shading and cool breeze into your house.

Oxygen Provider

As trees capture the carbons, process it, and release it as oxygen (through a process called photosynthesis) – you will have a low-cost oxygen provider for your house. Not that you will have a cooler house, you will be able to enjoy fresher air too. If you enjoy the nature, you might be able to hear the bird chirping from the trees too, what a life!

Sound and Dust Suppressor

Trees can also be used as sound and dust suppressor, thanks to its branches and leaves. If you’re living near a busy street or a dusty environment, plant a tree! This is better (and GREENER) rather than install those sound proofing into the wall or stake up the wall and making your house more like a fortress. If you have limited space, plant some rows of bamboo trees. It will still reduce the sound and dust from outside. As a bonus, you can enjoy the magical whisper from them.
