The house is something to be proud of by some people. Sometimes everyone is vying is to beautify their homes. The only way that is easiest to Decorate their homes.
Let’s try something different this time, let’s discuss about the potentials of corner properties. It could be from a corner landed house, a flat, or an apartment. What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a corner property?

More view. This is very true, as your property located in the corner, you will have the view from at least two different directions. In case of a flat or an apartment on any floor higher than the ground floor, you can enjoy more view from the height of your property.

Spacious. This is more into a landed house, you usually have extra land on your corner house. Why? Because the developer usually build the houses in sequence from one end and when they hit the corners they only have two choices: 1) Build different type of house to accommodate the spacious land 2) Build the same type of house and let the extra space as a bonus. Surely you can use the later.
OK, they were at least two advantages of having a corner property. Unfortunately, the same things could be disadvantages for you:
Security threat. If you are leaving on a corner house, you are also exposed from two different positions. Anybody with ill intention could easily surveyed the activities in your house from two different positions. To cope with this, you can install a blind on your windows or plant a tree to minimize the view. However, try your best to still have a clear view from inside your house.
The next disadvantages will be that you tend to spend more on decorating your corner property. It could be extra lighting, extra blind, extra furniture (especially if you want use the corner for reading room, day bed, etc.)

However, if you still can do something to minimize the disadvantages and turned them into your advantages, owning or living on a corner property could be something you can think about, right?
