In thisvideo I give a full in depth tour and comparison of the chevrolet colorado and gmc canyon. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of these trucks while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicles themselves. I also show the engines and the details of them, start them up and see how they sound under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of these trucks designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicles.

LOL!!! What a joke. Badge engineering at its worst! Another prime example of why us car makers have become something of a joke. Ford is the last great hope.

@SuperSportSS Kinda glad they did. Let me explain: these were the next generation S-10/Sonoma. Didn’t really want take two renown model trucks and turn them into these cheap things, right? I personally have a 2003 GMC Sonoma with the Vortec V6 4.3L. I, too, wished they still made them. But again, in reference to above, I am cause I know that I sure want the S-10/Sonoma name associated with these two, not quality built vehicles. Hope this makes since.

These are both nice trucks, although I’d definitely take that black Canyon over the yellow Colorado. Even though it’s a year older, I like the fact that it has lower miles and it’s much better equipped. That Colorado is a little basic for my tastes. Where is the key fob for the Canyon? I’m sure that truck has keyless entry. These are good trucks. I just wish GM would offer them with a V6, steering wheel audio controls, remote start, and a better radio like the one in my Impala.

Ha. Funny you post this. My dad just sold of his rusty old sonoma sls (245k miles with a 2.2 I4, manual trans; he bought it brand new in ’98) and just bought a brand new gmc canyon sle with a 3.7 I5 with the offroad package. Both red extended cab trucks. Lets hope the canyon is as awesome to us as the sonoma was. Nice reviews thumbs up :)

I like th4e Colorado better. To bad they put that Damn 15 in instead of a v6. I hate that inline, maybe thats why I would buy the Tacoma! Lol. I still want a Colorado!

The huge fender flares on the Canyon ruin the look of it.

If I HAD to choose between the two, I’d choose the GMC based on their history and my past experience with the brand.

If you haven’t, you should do a newer Ford Ranger.

cool video! i always loved the way this truck looked, just wish there was more incentive to buy one over a silverado..

GM didnt get the fact that this truck not only doesnt do the pickup truck stuff well, but it didnt do the small truck/ practiccal driving thing well either :(

@Fred924 There was also an Isuzu clone for the S10/Sonoma called the Hombre, it’s weird because I saw an Isuzu Hombre just last friday.
