it’s sad they’ve stopped making american cars, ford released fiesta(a euro car), and these regal, malibu, and aura are all based on opel platforms

@coololds85 It’s built in Germany. Starting with the 2012 model year it will be built in Canada. And the car is basically an Opel Insignia, which is from Germany, not China. (Yes, Opel is GM.) Why don’t you go buy a Dodge Avenger with a V6 in it and leave the nicer cars for the rest of us.

you people gotta be kidding me if you like this piece of shit. first of all this whole car wasn’t even bulit from GM. It was imported from China. Second of all the style of this car is worthless and last this car has hardly has any power to it has a 4 cyl engine I would probably buy this car if GM bulit it and they kept the V6 engine and they have to change the whole style of this and extend the whole body frame of this car

Wow, great. So I can buy a similar styled and “flavored” 2011 Hyundai Sonata with 18hp more, 5mpg better hwy, for thousands less. This is a nice car, but seriously?

Should have used a GM 3.6l DOHC v6 and Supercharged it, still, it’s a beautiful car.

@derbigpr500 Uh no not even close. 3 series and the neon never had anything in common not even close, that is the dumbest analogy I have ever heard.

isn’t that also a direct injection 4 cylinder…I think judging by the noisy engine….louder than the normal fuel injected engines

@Ajaces You mean OPEL is designing very well, this car has not been developed by GM designers. Its been fully developed and built in germany as opel insigna. Proof? Just look at other GM cars :P Opel really freshened up their range after joining them, but i think its bad for Opel’s image. I personaly would never buy an Opel Insignia even though its a great car, just because its sold as a Vauxhall and as a Buick in other countries. Its like calling a BMW 3 series 2011 Dodge Neon. Just stupid.
